The experience
Make the most of your visit
- A Hindu pilgrimage temple on Nainativu
- An island setting beyond the road network
Before you go
- This is a regional island excursion, not a direct taxi stop. Confirm the Kurikadduwan departure point, boat service, island arrival jetty and return arrangements locally; allow separately for transfers and waiting.
- Confirm visitor hours and permitted areas with temple staff; dress respectfully and follow footwear and photography rules.
- Use the island-qualified name when checking maps; similarly named mainland temples are not interchangeable. Nainativu is separate from Delft Island.
